(UPDATED) Changes to Microsoft Authentication For Magical - 16th Oct 2024

Thu, Sep 26

(16th Oct 2024) UPDATE

As of October 15, 2024, Magical has reenabled Microsoft authentication. We have integrated a best-in-class authentication provider to enhance the security of the Microsoft authentication process.

We appreciate your continued support!

(26th Sep 2024) What is changing?

Magical has deprecated the option for Microsoft authentication for all users. If you currently use Microsoft authentication to log into your Magical account, you will need to sign in using your email address moving forward.

Why are we making this changes?

A recent security vulnerability was identified in the Microsoft authentication method. As security is our top priority, we have made the decision to discontinue this option in order to adhere to strict security protocols.

You can find more information on Microsoft’s OAuth vulnerabilities at the following links on Descope and MSRC.
